PROFESSIONAL MANAGER'S PROGRAMME (PMP)

THE OBJECTIVE
The objective of ACPM Professional Managers Programme (PMP) programme is to :

Enhancement of Managerial Skills & Organization Capability : Manager’s practical skills, knowledge of management theory and mindset enhancement results in the improvement in efficiency and effectiveness at work.

Performance Improvement: Gaining business management insights and improved people management, leadership and communication to achieve organizational goals.

Professional Development: Improvement of competencies in application of management practices in the business environment will steer to managerial and career advancement.

Professional Image: Project a professional business image; reflecting self confidence, personal branding, proper grooming and determination to succeed.

PROGRAMME DURATION

The Professional Managers Programme is designed to provide working managers with a detailed knowledge of management theory along with practical skills. The teaching methodology is seminars, case studies, group assignments and exercises. The curriculum is specifically designed by ACPM faculty. Professional Managers Programme: 3 days

CERTIFICATION
The names of all participants who successfully complete the programme will be entered and maintained in ACPM database as "Professional Managers (PM)". Successful candidates will have the right to be ACPM Professional Manager and the right to the designatory letters PM. This Practicing License confirms that they have attained the highest standard of knowledge, capability, in their area of expertise and specialization.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA  

Admission to ACPM’s Professional Managers Programme is given totally on merit and no quota system is followed. The candidate must possess:

• Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.

If a candidate has passed only a diploma qualification but has more than 5 years experience, his/her case may be considered for admission by ACPM .

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Applications may be completed online or downloaded in Adobe Acrobat™ format. All applications must be submitted with a nonrefundable application fee. Applications will not be processed without payment. Applicants are notified by letter or email of their eligibility to participate in the PM Programme. Applicants are required to submit the following documents upon acceptance into the PM programme;

• Copies of bachelor's degree and transcript.
• Four copies of a recent passport size photograph.
• Reference letters by employers.

EVALUATION AND GRADING
The performance of students is evaluated through continuous observation of the student’s interest in the course, the extent to which he/she participates in discussions and the case studies and exercises.

A final examination of three hours duration will be given to the students at the end of the semester for each subject. The total marks for passing the course will be 60 out of a total of 100 marks.

Students, who do not meet attendance or any other eligibility criteria, will not be allowed to appear in the final examination.

In the rating of students, three passing grades, A, B, and C and one failing grade are used. In terms of their numerical equivalents, the letter grades denote the following:
A: 87-100
B: 72-86
C: 60-71
F: Below 60
No "make up" examination is allowed in any course under any circumstances.

All participants are required to take the following six foundation courses. Exemption from these courses is possible if student can provide proof of these courses or equivalent courses taken previously from other recognized Institutions;
